| Young horses need lots of traning, older horses can use a "boot camp" every once in a while to blow all the dust off after a long cold winter. I have been training horses for about 20 years at this point and I can help in either situation. Horses will live in a beautiful modern facility with many ammeneties while in training. They're welcome to stay of course after training is completed. Your horse would live here www.4cstables.net . Owners can take riding lessons on lesson horses to refine their skills as well as lesson on the owners horse to learn the correct cues and techniques to reinforce the traning. References available from current and former traning clients as well as students. Training is quoted on an idividual basis since all horses are different. Right: Stetson a 2005 paint gelding in his first sessions in the round pen. The round pen is used to teach the horse to focus, steady his gait and teach him balance through all gaits before the horse is ever saddled or ridden. Horses that are broke to ride are worked in the round pen as well. |

| Left: Toby, at time a weanling stud colt, obediently lifts his feet one at a time. Toby was not handled much until he was weaned and now is well in halter, leads and is gentle on the ground. He also CATCHES very easily even in the pasture with Mama. | ||||||||||||||||

| There's nothing sweeter than little ones and horses. Above you see my youngest student in her first show. I teach all levels of riders from little ones like her to my "25 again" classes. Some riders want to compete regularly, others want the exercize or just an interaction with the horse. Whatever your reason, I teach them all. Lessons are $40 for a 1 hour lesson and $20 for a 30 minute lesson (children under 12 only). Lessons are reduced to $35 for students who board their own horse at the facility or students in a group lesson. |
